Cammish & Sutton Reveal Scorching Hot Napa Racing UK Livery
NAPA Racing UK has today (2 February) revealed its 2022 Kwik Fit British Touring Car Championship chargers, with Dan Cammish and Ash Sutton unveiling the pair of Ford Focus STs with which they will each mount a bid for this season’s title.
Since confirming its arrival into the country’s premier motor racing series with race-winning team Motorbase Performance late last year, NAPA Racing UK has captured BTCC fans’ attention as they eagerly awaited a first look at the outfit’s livery for its maiden season in the series.
NAPA Racing’s iconic blue and yellow feature prominently, with a truly striking design ensuring the twin hybrid-powered front-wheel drive Fords will be absolutely eye-catching on the capacity 32-car grid.
With fans and rivals alike having speculated about how the driver pairing of Cammish and reigning Champion Sutton will further boost the competitiveness of the championship, this latest news from the Motorbase-run squad will certainly add to the anticipation and excitement for the campaign ahead.
“Introducing NAPA Racing UK – what a fantastic livery!” said Pete Osborne, Team Owner and Team Principal. “We’re all so pleased with how it’s come out – the car, the launch and the general vibrancy brought to the grid by NAPA. Everyone at NAPA has been fantastic to work with, they’ve brought a new energy with them. Everything is bright and exciting and marks the perfect way to start this relationship with Motorbase in the BTCC.
“All of the guys and girls at Motorbase have been hard at work all winter with the development of the cars, which has been going on behind the scenes, and this is just part of what they’ve been working on. We are also aiming to hit the track for the first time with the car this week, so it’s all exciting stuff as we prepare for a huge season ahead.”
“We’re delighted to finally reveal the NAPA Racing UK livery for this season’s Kwik Fit British Touring Car Championship,” added Steve Richardson, Alliance Automotive Group UK Managing Director/ NAPA Racing UK. “Since the day we announced the partnership, the livery has been eagerly anticipated. We hope fans agree it’s been worth the wait. The iconic NAPA branding is undoubtedly going to stand out on the grid and this is just the start of what we expect to be an exciting season.”
